Lucasfilm has recruited George Nolfi to write a new script for 'Star Wars: New Jedi Order', revealing a commitment to the project announced in 2023. Daisy Ridley returns as Rey, who will mentor new Jedi approximately 15 years after 'The Rise of Skywalker'. Previous writers included Damon Lindelof and Steven Knight, but after Knight's departure, Nolfi took over.
