Read 1,500 classic game magazines online for free - including EGM and GamePro
Briefly

The Video Game History Foundation has made a substantial digital archive freely available to the public, containing over 30,000 curated files, including more than 1,500 out-of-print video game magazines. This collection, compiled since the foundation's inception in 2017, includes a wealth of industry materials such as development documents, artworks, and marketing items. This repository serves as an invaluable resource for researchers, nostalgia seekers, and video game enthusiasts looking to explore the history and evolution of the gaming industry.
Long before Polygon, video game lovers relied on print magazines to pass time at school, on commutes, and during slow days at work when the boss wasn't looking.
Today, the Video Game History Foundation (VGHF) announced its digital archive of video game history is now available for free to the public for research purposes.
The database has been in production since the VGHF's founding in 2017, providing access to over 30,000 curated files and more than 1,500 full-text searchable out-of-print video game magazines.
I'll be flipping through 'GamePro press CD collection,' which collects 'all known press assets received by GamePro from roughly 1995-2004.'
