PS5 Pro Disc Drive Is Sold Out At Most Retailers, But Walmart Has It (For Now)

The PS5 Pro, launching on November 7, features an upgraded GPU with 45% faster rendering and a 2TB SSD, but lacks a built-in disc drive, necessitating the purchase of a separate PS5 Disc Drive for those with physical game libraries.

As of November 5, Walmart is the only major retailer with the official $80 Disc Drive readily available; other stores like Amazon, Best Buy, and Target have sold out.

Preorders for the PS5 Pro at major retailers are still available, with Best Buy providing in-store pickup on launch day and Amazon promising delivery by November 11.

Though GameStop also has the Disc Drive in stock, it is only accessible to members of their paid Pro membership, limiting its availability.
