Titane is a horror film that explores the boundaries of body horror and transgressive themes, revolving around Alexia, a woman with an unusual obsession with cars. Following her traumatic childhood experience, she becomes a serial killer and eventually pretends to be a missing child while dealing with a shocking pregnancy. Suitable only for those who can endure extreme horror, 'Titane' is a compelling, albeit unsettling viewing experience, especially before it departs Hulu.
Titane is one of the few movies that made me physically nauseous as I watched it, and I think probably everyone should.
When I say Titane is very French, I'm not just talking about the subtitles. Titane is part of the New French Extremity horror movement.
