"We will be holding a Nintendo Direct this June regarding the Nintendo Switch software lineup for the latter half of 2024, but please be aware that there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during that presentation," Shuntaro posted.
While a look at the Switch successor is off the table, this Nintendo Direct will at least give owners of the current console a closer look at the games coming to the system.
Nintendo has also confirmed that it'll officially announce its Switch successor console within its current fiscal year, so a reveal should arrive by March 31, 2025, at the very latest.
