At today's Corporate Management Policy Briefing, we announced that Nintendo Switch software will also be playable on the successor to Nintendo Switch.
It was also confirmed that Nintendo Switch Online will carry over to the new console, with the subscription service apparently having over 34 million users now.
All of this good news has helped Nintendo's stock price jump up 5.8%.
As for the Switch 2 itself, Nintendo has reconfirmed that it's on track to be announced by the end of their fiscal year, which is in March of 2025.
