New FBC Firebreak Update Will Address The Game's "Frustrating" Opening Hour
Briefly

Remedy Entertainment aims to enhance Firebreak’s player experience with multiple updates scheduled for September. After launch, the game saw a drastic decline in players, with concurrent user counts dropping below 100. Feedback revealed the first hour of gameplay is especially problematic, with many players feeling lost and frustrated. To address this, Remedy intends to introduce a narrative onboarding experience and improve tutorials. Gameplay will also see adjustments, including new weapons, a Mod System for customized upgrades, and innovative objectives and levels for ongoing engagement.
"We've seen many players come into the game and leave within the first hour. And that's because our first hour can be frustrating; you feel ineffective and confused as to what to do. This needs to be improved."
"In effect, this should help players figure out 'where they are, who they are, and what they are trying to achieve' as members of Firebreak."
"We're bringing in a new handcrafted level, three Zones, a new status effect, two more enemies to deal with, and all the rest you've come to expect from a new Job."
