Magic And Gunplay Collide In First Look At The Directorate: Novitiate

Nesting Games has announced The Directorate: Novitiate, a third-person action-RPG where players assume the role of Kana Luna, a young woman who leads a double life. By day, she is an ordinary citizen in Los Angeles, and by night, she transforms into Mercury, a magical assassin. Players can upgrade her magical powers and choose between gun combat and spellcasting. The game features a storyline that includes a quest against a supernatural serial killer and explores Kana's relationships, where choices can impact her loved ones and her moral alignment with the Directorate.

By day, Kana is just a normal young woman living in Los Angeles in 2006, but by night, she becomes Mercury, a magical assassin.

Players will ultimately have the option of deciding whether Mercury will stay loyal to "the Edicts of the Directorate" or retain her humanity as Kana.
