How Hollowbody's developer draws on Silent Hill's legacy to craft a new generation of horrors
Briefly

Hollowbody thrusts players into the role of Mica, a black-market trafficker who embarks on a personal mission into an abandoned zone to rescue her partner. The game's design is inspired by classic horror titles, combining elements of narrative and puzzle in its gameplay.
"I’ve always had a love for traditional survival horror games, older stuff like Silent Hill. There’s a connection with these genres I think a lot of people overlook," said Nathan Hamley, emphasizing the nostalgia and deep-rooted appreciation for classic horror games.
Hamley describes Hollowbody as the culmination of everything he’s learned as a game developer, indicating how past experiences with games like Guard Duty influenced the development of this new project.
