Columbia Pictures and PlayStation Productions are at the early stages of developing a film adaptation of the award-winning Horizon Zero Dawn. Just imagine, Aloy's beloved origin story set in a vibrant, far future world filled with the giant machines, brought to you for the first time on the big screen.
The Horizon series is, of course, currently the apple of Sony's eye and when you consider the numbers it's easy to see why: Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West have sold a combined 34 million units.
It's strange to see a series doing so well, and yet culturally speaking the discussion around it always seems muted. But muted or not, you can't argue with those sales numbers.
One of those projects was presumably the recently released Lego Horizon Adventures which turned out to be 100% a game that was released. It was kind of bland, and seems to have made no impact in terms of sales.
