The fogless mod, named "Silent Hill HD Collection," is a reference to the criticized remasters of Silent Hill 2 and 3 that bluntly removed environmental details and ambiance.
Despite its initial charm, the absence of fog alters the game’s atmosphere significantly, making familiar streets appear less creepy yet strangely eerie without their foggy filter.
