A fully playable Wii build of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 has surfaced online, representing the most complete version since its cancellation 16 years ago.
The game build was found on a Wii test kit at an e-waste recycling center, restored by Free Radical Archive, and is a week away from cancellation.
Steve Ellis stated, 'It was pretty much done... it was in final QA for half of 2008, it was just being fixed for release.'
The cancellation stemmed from LucasArts being unable to commit to the marketing budget, leading to the loss of a nearly finished game.
