BioWare is currently not planning any downloadable expansions for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, having shifted focus entirely to developing the next Mass Effect.
The Veilguard launched on October 31 and set a record for BioWare, achieving the best-ever debut on Steam with over 89,000 peak concurrent users.
John Epler spoke on the importance of storytelling in gaming, highlighting that single-player games allow for a stronger narrative focus compared to multiplayer formats.
The developers originally aimed for a live-service design for The Veilguard, but it was ultimately rebooted into a single-player experience before release.
