Disney pulls transgender storyline from Pixar's new show
Briefly

"When it comes to animated content for a younger audience, we recognize that many parents would prefer to discuss certain subjects with their children on their own terms and timeline."
Disney has a history of removing LGBTQ+ content from its shows and movies, be it editing moments out of international releases, giving studio notes to make characters appear 'less gay,' or, in the case of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, pulling episodes entirely.
The character in question has not been entirely cut from the show, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, a few lines about their gender identity have been removed.
The show was first announced in 2020, with an initial release date of 2023, before being pushed to 2024 and now again to 2025.
