D&D's 2025 calendar hints at new books and new experiments
Briefly

On a sunny January day, Wizards of the Coast shared early copies of the updated Monster Manual (2025) and discussed plans for multiple product releases in 2025. The company is recovering from focusing resources on core rulebooks and emphasizes making D&D easier for all players. Upcoming releases include the Monster Manual on February 18 and an anthology titled Dragon Delves on July 8, featuring pre-built adventures focusing on dragons, designed especially for novice Dungeon Masters.
Crawford suggested that each adventure errs on the side of catering to novice DMs. "They're pre-built, with new, easy-prep elements that streamline the process for Dungeon Masters."
Wizards is beginning the year on the back foot. Hasbro-owned company is still in the process of ramping up a steady cadence of new releases despite early excitement.
