The company is recovering from focusing resources on core rulebooks and emphasizes making D&D easier for all players. Upcoming releases include the Monster Manual on February 18 and an anthology titled Dragon Delves on July 8, featuring pre-built adventures focusing on dragons, designed especially for novice Dungeon Masters.
Crawford suggested that each adventure errs on the side of catering to novice DMs. "They're pre-built, with new, easy-prep elements that streamline the process for Dungeon Masters."
Wizards is beginning the year on the back foot. Hasbro-owned company is still in the process of ramping up a steady cadence of new releases despite early excitement.
