Bethesda Softworks QA union authorizes strike as negotiations with Microsoft continue
Briefly

ZeniMax Workers United, representing QA testers at ZeniMax Media, has voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike action amidst ongoing negotiations with Microsoft for improved wages and remote work options. Over 94% of union members participated in the vote, signaling strong discontent over issues such as lack of pay raises and insufficient communication regarding outsourced work. Previous protests have highlighted their struggle for basic rights, emphasizing the disparity between Microsoft's wealth and the wages offered to its employees. The situation is part of a larger trend of union formation within Microsoft-owned studios.

Despite being one of the world's largest corporations, we've had to continuously fight for what should be bare minimum. Paying your employees a livable wage as a multi-trillion dollar company is the least they could be doing; however when addressed at the bargaining table, Microsoft acts as though we're asking for too much.
