Larian revealed it will be expanding upon the game's evil ending, which was notably underbaked when the game launched, and wasn't expanded upon when the team released an epilogue last year.
Patch 7 will include bug fixes for noted problems like Wyll's missing romantic greetings, disappearing narrator lines, and Jaheira's combat engagement issue.
Alongside new endings and bug fixes, Patch 7 will introduce official modding tools, with crossplay and photo mode scheduled for a later patch.
Larian is currently working on two new IP projects, confirming they won't be developing Baldur's Gate 4 or any other existing property.
