Larian advises PS5 players who updated early to uninstall and revert to Patch 7 to avoid issues with saves and mods. The studio has provided resources to help users navigate the new crossplay functionality effectively, as it suggests hosting considerations based on platform.
If you're a PS5 player who downloaded Patch 8 when it accidentally went live,... you'll need to return to the Patch 7 version by totally uninstalling and reinstalling BG3.
