Foamstars will not receive any new season updates after the upcoming January 17, 2025 update, but it will feature new customization options and gameplay enhancements.
The final season, Party Goes On, begins December 13 and includes Nier: Automata character skins, continuing the game’s engaging aesthetic and thematic connections.
Despite the game's closure on new content, Square Enix assures that servers will remain online and previous season passes will be accessible again for player use.
Foamstars is transitioning to a free-to-play model allowing more players access to this Splatoon-like shooter, which originally debuted at $30 after a month-long free trial.
