Mazure highlighted the extent of misinformation, stating, 'Voters mistakenly believe election equipment is connected to the internet, or that voters are receiving multiple ballots in the mail, or that officials are stuffing ballot tabulators with fake ballots at the end of the day.'
She explained that the mistrust of election processes was not spontaneous, saying, 'The mistrust was there, the seed was planted, and then it was fertilized and grew.' This illustrates how deeply entrenched these beliefs have become in her community.
