Located in Guitou Town, the Guitou Town Wetland Park, a joint initiative by YXDesigners and Vanke Urban Research Institute, aims to transform a frequently flooded wetland along the Wujiang River into a vibrant public space. Despite its challenges—soils unsuitable for agriculture and severe flooding—the area boasts rich biodiversity and scenic landscapes. After engaging local stakeholders, the project intends to maintain a balance with nature, revitalizing cultural ties between residents and their environment in a space dedicated to ecological appreciation.
