Republican who introduced Trump derangement syndrome bill arrested for soliciting a minor
Briefly

Minnesota state senator Justin Eichorn, a Republican, was arrested for allegedly soliciting minors, coinciding with his recent introduction of a controversial bill aimed at categorizing anti-Trump sentiments as a mental illness, dubbed 'Trump derangement syndrome.' Police actions reveal that he believed he was communicating with a 17-year-old female. The Minnesota Senate GOP and the broader Republican party urged his resignation, highlighting the severity of the allegations and the need for him to focus on his family amid a shocking legal situation for the lawmaker.
"As a 40-year-old man, if you come to the Orange Jumpsuit District looking to have sex with someone's child, you can expect that we are going to lock you up," said Booker Hodges of the Bloomington police department.
"The Minnesota Senate GOP called for Eichorn to resign, saying the reports were shocking. Justin has a difficult road ahead and he needs to focus on his family," the caucus stated.
"The bill defines the syndrome as the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal persons that is in reaction to the policies and presidencies of President Donald J Trump."
"Expressions of the syndrome could include intense hostility toward Trump or overt acts of aggression and violence against anyone supporting President Donald J Trump or anything that symbolizes President Trump."
