Briefly

The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office is investigating after police officers fatally shot a man in Kensington on Monday night following an hours-long standoff after an officer followed up on a mental health call, authorities say.
Around 3:45 p.m., a shelter-in-place order was issued for nearby residents, a statement said.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m., during an ensuing encounter with the armed male, six police officers discharged their firearms and one officer discharged a less-lethal munition, the AG's Office said. Life saving measures were attempted at the scene, but the male suffered lethal injuries and died.
