Ryan Louis Mosqueda, 27, fired multiple rounds at federal agents near a Texas border patrol facility, injuring a police officer before being shot dead. He was wearing a utility vest and armed with an assault rifle. Earlier, his father was stopped for a traffic violation and reported his son's psychological issues and weapon possession. Mosqueda drove a white sedan with letters possibly in Latin on it and was linked to Michigan, though reported missing from Weslaco, Texas. Additional weaponry was found in his vehicle post-incident.
