Library of Congress blames "coding error" for missing sections of online Constitution
Briefly

The Constitution Annotated website experienced a coding error that led to the omission of parts of Article I, specifically Section 8 and entire Sections 9 and 10. Archived versions confirmed these sections existed until mid-July. The Library of Congress acknowledged these missing sections and confirmed they were working to repair the issue. A notification on the website indicated data issues were being resolved. Affected links were displaying error pages, which have since been fixed, restoring access to previously missing legal provisions.
The Library of Congress stated, "It has been brought to our attention that some sections of Article 1 are missing from the Constitution Annotated website..."
Archived captures showed Article I Section 8 was partially cut and Sections 9 and 10 were entirely omitted. This error occurred on the Constitution Annotated website.
