During a House hearing on JFK assassination files, Rep. Lauren Boebert mistakenly confused filmmaker Oliver Stone with Roger Stone, an ally of Trump known for his election conspiracy theories. Asking Oliver about his book on LBJ's alleged involvement in Kennedy's assassination, Oliver clarified that he didn't accuse LBJ of that, but rather suggested complicity in a cover-up. Jefferson Morley stepped in to correct Boebert's error, stating that it was Roger Stone who had made claims about LBJ's involvement. Boebert acknowledged her mistake in distinguishing the two men.
