House Democrats release new images of Epstein's private Caribbean island
"The new images and videos show Epstein's home, including bedrooms, a telephone, what appears to be an office or library, and a chalk board on which the words fin, intellectual, deception and power are written. One photo shows a room with a dentist chair and masks hanging on the wall. The New York Times reported that Epstein's last girlfriend was a dentist who shared an office with one of his shell companies."
"Even though the images and videos released on Wednesday do not reveal anything new, they appear to be an effort from Congress to keep the pressure on the Trump administration ahead of a 19 December deadline for the justice department to release the files. A bipartisan group of members of Congress on Wednesday also asked the US attorney general, Pam Bondi, to provide a status update."
House Democrats released photos and videos from Jeffrey Epstein's private Caribbean island showing bedrooms, a telephone, an office or library, a chalkboard with "fin, intellectual, deception and power," and a room with a dentist chair and masks. Materials were taken by US Virgin Islands law enforcement in 2020. Epstein owned Little St James, nicknamed "pedophile island" by some locals. A 2022 settlement of more than $100 million resolved claims that dozens of young women and children were trafficked, raped, sexually assaulted and held captive on Little St James. Congress is using the release to pressure the Justice Department ahead of a December 19 deadline.
