Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche rejected congressional threats over the Justice Department's handling of Jeffrey Epstein case files, asserting the department is complying with the statute. Blanche said critics misunderstand the volume of material—about a million pages—and noted that most pages contain victim information requiring protection and phased release.
