Prosecutors allege Lourm struck Huot in the parking lot of their apartment building after reversing into a small garden area. Huot was pronounced dead at the scene. Responding officers smelled alcohol on Lourm, who reportedly said she had been drinking wine and refused field sobriety tests. Lourm was arrested, did not immediately post $1,000 bail and was transferred to MCI Framingham. She pleaded not guilty and is due back in court on Oct. 16.

Lourm allegedly pulled into her parking spot and then reversed, striking Huot, who prosecutors said was in a small garden area that wraps around part of the building. Huot was later pronounced dead at the scene by first responders, according to the Sun. Responding officers allegedly detected a strong smell of alcohol from Lourm at the scene and she reportedly told them she had been drinking wine that day. She refused field sobriety tests and was arrested, according to the Sun. According to court records, Lourm was transferred to MCI Framingham when she did not immediately post the bail set at $1,000. Lourm is set to return to court on Oct. 16.
