Josh Elander is Tennessee's head baseball coach, replacing Tony Vitello, who left for the San Francisco Giants and Major League Baseball. Elander spent eight seasons with Tennessee, joining in 2018 as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator and being promoted to associate head coach after the 2022 season. Elander worked with hitters and catchers and served as third base coach. Tennessee posted a 341-131 record, reached the College World Series three times since 2019, and won the 2024 national championship. The program has made six NCAA Tournament berths in eight seasons with five Super Regionals and captured two SEC regular-season and two SEC Tournament titles.
