President Biden signed the Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics, or PACT, Act, to quickly provide benefits to veterans suffering from health issues not covered by the V.A.
More than 888,000 veterans received $5.7 billion in health benefits from one million approved claims under the PACT Act, addressing conditions such as cancer and respiratory issues.
The PACT Act supports veterans exposed to toxins, including those from open burn pits near their living and working areas, aiming to expedite assistance for their health conditions.
