
"OAKLAND Three San Francisco boys, ages 15 and 16, were arrested in the Tuesday morning carjacking of a woman and an attempted carjacking where the car owner was knocked to the ground and punched and kicked, authorities said. Additional suspects were being sought in the West Oakland incidents. About 4:31 a.m. Tuesday a 31-year-old woman had her SUV stolen by several suspects including one who may have had a firearm in the 1100 block of 30th Street, authorities said."
"The suspects drove from the area in the SUV and two other vehicles. Moments later, a 55-year-old man who had just parked his car in the 2900 block of Adeline Street and was standing on the sidewalk was attacked by members of the same group, authorities said. He was knocked to the pavement and was punched and kicked while he was defenseless and had his vehicle keys taken, police said."
At about 4:31 a.m., several suspects stole a 31-year-old woman's SUV in the 1100 block of 30th Street, with one suspect possibly armed. The group drove away in the SUV and two other vehicles. Moments later in the 2900 block of Adeline Street, a 55-year-old man was attacked, knocked to the pavement, punched and kicked, and had his vehicle keys taken; he later received medical aid for unspecified injuries. Patrol officers spotted the stolen SUV about an hour later in the Fruitvale district and pursued it onto I-880. The SUV crashed near Jack London Square; four occupants fled. Three boys, two age 15 and one 16, were arrested and booked at Alameda County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of carjacking, attempted carjacking and assault. Additional suspects and vehicles remain sought.
