Texas Deputy Is Shot to Death on His Way to Work, Police Say

The deputy constable Maher Husseini was shot multiple times in his car at an intersection in Houston, and later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Witnesses reported seeing the assailant flee in a charcoal-gray Chevrolet Impala. Descriptions of the shooter indicated a Middle Eastern male, about 5'9".
