Severe Thunderstorm and Reported Tornado Hit Oklahoma City

A dangerous thunderstorm swept through Oklahoma early Sunday, bringing a tornado that touched down in Oklahoma City, prompting the National Weather Service to issue tornado warnings for over 300,000 people.
The Weather Service warned of likely damage to homes, vehicles, and trees as the storm moved through eastern Oklahoma City, affecting Midwest City and Tinker Air Force Base.
A flash flood warning was also in place for parts of Canadian, Grady, and Caddo counties, as several inches of rain had already fallen, with more expected.
Warnings were issued for southern Oklahoma, including Duncan, Comanche, and Velma, where hail the size of golf balls and flying debris were anticipated.
