San Francisco cop injured during Oakland traffic stop
"Around 3:50 p.m., an officer assigned to the San Francisco Police Department's Community Violence Reduction Team tried to stop the suspect in the 800 block of 47th Street, SFPD said in a news release. The Oakland Police Department said the suspect was wanted for multiple felonies. The suspect attempted to flee and hit the officer with his vehicle, San Francisco police said. The officer was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening."

In the 3400 block of Webster Street, an Oakland officer driving a marked patrol vehicle tried to stop the suspect. Oakland police said the suspect hit the patrol vehicle before being taken into custody. Oakland police said an Oakland officer's firearm was discharged while the suspect was being detained. There were no reports of injuries to the suspect or the officer. Oakland police are investigating the shooting."

The suspect struck an Oakland patrol vehicle, was taken into custody, and an Oakland officer's firearm was discharged while the suspect was being detained. No injuries were reported to the suspect or that officer. The Alameda County District Attorney's Office and the Community Police Review Agency are conducting independent investigations.
