The San Francisco Police Department found a missing 10-year-old boy who had gone missing on Monday morning in the Forest Hill neighborhood. The department said Julian Davis was captured on surveillance footage "wearing red plaid pajamas" at 6:15 a.m. on Monday near Vasquez and Woodside avenues. San Francisco police are investigating a reported sexual battery or sexual assault of a child in a restroom near the Polo Field in Golden Gate Park on Thursday. The incident occurred around 5:30 pm on October 23, inside a restroom by the Golden Gate Park Polo Field, as KPIX reports. The victim, a child, was reportedly attending a youth soccer practice on the field.
A San Francisco Police Department recruit officer has died after suffering a medical emergency at the academy on Wednesday, the department announced on social media Friday. Recruit Officer Jon-Marques Psalms, 30, had completed a training exercise before suffering the emergency, the statement said. He was given medical treatment on site before being taken to the hospital by paramedics, where he later died, on Friday, according to the department.
