PHOTOS: President Trump attends several balls to close out Inauguration Day
Briefly

During President Trump's second inauguration, he attended several balls, notably the Commander in Chief Ball, where he highlighted his commitment to strengthening the military and praised the service members. Trump noted the importance of military strength without direct military engagement and issued a series of executive orders, including pardons related to the January 6 Capitol riots. The celebrations included performances from prominent artists and featured moments with his family, as he expressed optimism about America's future progress under his leadership.
It's highly appropriate that we also honor the men and women who keep us safe, and that's what you are. Your bravery inspires us, your service unites us, and your sacrifice and spirit protect us all.
We're gonna make our military so strong that we don't have to use it. Wouldn't that be good? They'll look at us and they'll say, 'There's no way we're going after that one.'
I like to say we are a great nation. We will soon be the greatest we've ever been, and it won't take long—just watch what happens, there's gonna be big progress.
The Liberty Ball featured performances by Jason Aldean, Billy Ray Cyrus and the Air Force Band before the Trumps and Vances took the stage.
