Parents of Gaza Hostage Make Somber Plea for Middle East Peace
Briefly

Jon Polin and Rachel Goldberg shared their heart-wrenching story of their son, Hersh, a captive in Gaza, highlighting the human cost and the urgent need for peace.
Speaking emotionally, Ms. Goldberg noted, 'The hostages represent a tapestry of humanity—Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists—from 23 different countries—and we need to bring them all home.'
Polin emphasized that this is not a political issue, stating, 'Needing our only son and all of the cherished hostages home is not a political issue. It’s a human one.'
Ending with a poignant plea, Polin said, 'In a competition of pain, there are no winners. Every person is an entire universe. We must save all these universes.'
