Travis Hunter, receiver/cornerback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, is experiencing an upper body injury and may not play in the upcoming preseason game against the Saints. Head coach Liam Coen decided to hold Hunter out of practice to ensure he remains focused and engaged despite the injury. Hunter has participated in multiple drills, contributing significantly in both offensive and defensive roles. The Jaguars are also evaluating other starters, as several players are nursing injuries, prompting potential rest for them in the game.
"That's what they're supposed to do when they're hurt," Coen said. "We want 'em to make sure that they're locked in, getting all the calls, understanding the call and being able to watch and execute as well in their minds."
