Israeli airstrikes targeted the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza, resulting in multiple fatalities and the destruction of critical medical facilities. The attack occurred shortly after U.S. doctors condemned Israel's violence on CNN. Among the victims was a 16-year-old boy named Ibrahim, who had recently undergone surgery by California-based surgeon Feroze Sidhwa. Sidhwa expressed his horror at the situation, stating that the attack constituted a war crime and highlighted the severe consequences of military actions on civilian healthcare.
Attacking hospitals is a war crime, and it needs to stop," Sidhwa said on social media.
When they opened the blanket it was obvious that it was my patient Ibrahim that I'd operated on a few days ago. He was dead..." Sidhwa added in an interview with The Independent.
