A malfunctioning sprinkler at BioLab in Conyers caused a chemical reaction leading to a hazardous plume, prompting an evacuation of a large part of the city.
Officials have confirmed that water accidentally mixed with a reactive chemical, resulting in a plume that led to the evacuation order for around 17,000 residents.
