The House unanimously passed a resolution on Tuesday calling on the Russian government to release Evan Gershkovich, a Wall Street Journal reporter arrested in March, and provide unfettered consular access to him in the meantime.The resolution also calls for the immediate release of Paul Whelan, a former U.S. Marine serving a 16-year sentence after being convicted in 2020 of spying.
