Eight charged - including 5 for murder - after Rhode Island woman found dead in woods
"I'm glad justice is served again, that they've been brought forward, all eight of them,"
"I'm glad they're at where they're at, and I hope they stay there."
Central Falls police arrested eight people in connection with Erica Bader's death; her body was found in a Pawtucket wooded area at the end of October. Five suspects were charged with murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy: Andrew Cornell (28), Joshua Brunelle (35), Elizabeth Durand (41), Stephanie Bletzer (37), and Brittney Terpening (34). Three others—Christopher Kordalewski (22), Joanne Miller (26), and Cheryl Blakely (36)—face conspiracy, kidnapping, and failure-to-report-death charges. Investigators determined Bader, 24, had been placed in Pawtucket after her death elsewhere and traced the case to a Central Street address in Central Falls; a multi-agency probe remains active. All suspects are held without bail and none has entered a plea.
