Deion mum on health, 'excited' to rejoin Buffs
Briefly

Deion Sanders will return to the University of Colorado for training camp after being absent due to a health issue. He expressed excitement about meeting young players and resuming coaching responsibilities. His health status remains private, but he indicated he feels good and is eager to start the season on August 29 against Georgia Tech. During his absence, he missed various events, including youth camps and a wedding. Sanders has a history of health issues, including blood clots and amputation of two toes.
I'm already back. I'm here today. I'm handling my responsibilities. So I look forward to it. I can't wait. You've got to understand, some of the young [players] I haven't even met yet. I'm so excited about that.
I'm not here to talk about my health. I'm here to talk about my team.
I'm looking good, I'm living lovely. God has truly blessed me. Not a care in the world, not a want or desire in the world.
I want to thank Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark, Colorado athletic director Rick George and my fellow Big 12 coaches for checking on me during my health-related absence.
