Deadly storms kill at least 17 across three US states

Severe storms and tornadoes have wreaked havoc across parts of the Midwest and South, resulting in at least 17 deaths. In Missouri, 11 people were killed, with reports of significant destruction including ripped apart homes and widespread downed power lines. Arkansas has also reported three fatalities, leading Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders to declare a state of emergency in the state. Local agencies are actively involved in response and recovery efforts, assessing damage and aiding affected communities.
