
"A Framingham man was arrested and charged Wednesday after he allegedly hit and killed a bicyclist with his vehicle, according to prosecutors. Paulo Castro, 69, of Framingham, is charged with leaving the scene of personal injury causing death, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said in a press release. He is expected to be arraigned Thursday in Framingham District Court."
"At about 9:50 a.m., Framingham police responded to a report of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle in the area of Gorman Road and Concord Street, according to the DA's office. The bicyclist, a 43-year-old Framingham man, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries. The involved vehicle fled the scene after hitting the man, the DA's office said."
"Officers later found Castro, the alleged operator, and took him into custody, according to prosecutors. The DA's office, Framingham police, and the Massachusetts State Police Collision and Reconstruction Section are investigating the crash."
