Vadim Kruglov, 37, a Russian national and Tacoma resident, was found dead Saturday night at Burning Man in an apparent homicide. He was located on the playa near I Street between 8 and 8:45 in Black Rock City’s clock-layout. Friends reported him missing after last being seen Friday, August 29; his tent and belongings remained at camp. Camp-mate Sofiia Shcherbakova confirmed his death, posted a video of them dancing, and praised his contributions to the community. She urged people to help retrace his last days, saying he was at Mine Warrior, danced inside the pyramid, and may appear in art-car videos. Anyone with information should call the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office at 775-273-2641.
