Brockton man arrested in connection with fatal Fitchburg stabbing
"A man was found fatally stabbed in Fitchburg Tuesday morning, and a man was later arrested in connection with his killing, prosecutors announced. At around 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 16, Fitchburg police arrived at Chester Street in response to a reported incident with a knife, the office of Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr. said in a press release. Officers found a man who had been stabbed; he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital, Early's office said."
"Police arrested Brockton resident Charles Ednerson, 27, in connection with the fatal stabbing, according to prosecutors. Ednerson is charged with assault and battery with a dangerousweapon and armed assault with intent to murder. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
