Boyfriend of woman who vanished at Calif. beach party denies involvement
""I'm not stopping until I find her, and I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here," Nunez said."
""There are no new developments to report as of now. Detectives are continuing to investigate all possible leads. Everyone detectives have interviewed so far have been cooperative with the investigation," Sgt. Zach West wrote over email. "At this time, no one is considered a 'person of interest' as detectives are following the facts of what led to Staley's disappearance.""
""extremely abusive" and "manipulative." "We've been concerned for years," Miller told KTVX-TV, a TV news station in Utah."
""an unknown group of people," the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said at the time."
Danielle Staley, 35, was last seen around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 6 at Rio Del Mar State Beach near Santa Cruz with an unknown group of people. Her personal belongings were later found on the beach, and family members have not heard from her since. Staley arrived on the Central Coast with longtime partner Alx Nunez around Halloween, and the couple were staying in a camper van near the beach. Staley's mother described Nunez as an on-again, off-again partner of 13 years and characterized him as extremely abusive and manipulative. Nunez denies involvement, offered to take a polygraph, and has undergone hours of interviews with detectives. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office says detectives are following leads, no one is currently considered a person of interest, and investigators have requested surveillance footage from residents and businesses in the area.
