A 36-year-old safety supervisor at a Bay Area high school was arrested after police say he demanded sexual acts from a student and held her against her will. Authorities allege the suspect, Reuben Carter Freeman, confiscated the student's phone and refused to return it unless she complied. Police say Freeman held the student in a classroom and returned the phone only after she responded to some advances. Officers detained Freeman after he ran from campus. Freeman was booked into Solano County Jail on $55,000 bail and faces charges including soliciting lewd acts in public, false imprisonment and robbery. The Vallejo City Unified School District placed Freeman on administrative leave and is cooperating with law enforcement while withholding details because the case involves a student.
